Become a Detroit Bully Corp Volunteer

To become a volunteer with DBC, please read these 4 documents below before filling out the Volunteer Application. All applications are received by DBC via email and will be stored electronically. After you submit your application, if you would like a hard copy mailed to you, please send $5 to cover printing and postage to DBC, 100 Lone Pine Trail, Lapeer, MI 48446. You can update your information or withdraw your participation at any time in person or by emailing detroitbullycorps@gmail.com.

Volunteer Agreement

AGREEMENT & ELECTRONIC SIGNATURE: By submitting this application, I affirm that the facts set forth in it are true and complete. I understand that if I am accepted as a volunteer, any false statements, omissions, or other misrepresentations made by me on this application may result in my immediate dismissal. Individuals who volunteer with Detroit Bully Corps and its activities do so of their own free will and at their own risk. Volunteers acknowledge that they are assuming all risks associated with volunteer service, including risk of injury. In the event of personal injury, volunteers would be responsible for the full expense of any medical care or attention, as well as other harm or expenses arising out of such injury. Any volunteer under 18 years of age must have permission of and must be accompanied by a legal guardian. It is the policy of this organization to provide equal opportunities without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, gender, sexual preference, age, or disability.*

 General Liability Release: I have read the General Release Agreement and fully understand that I will relinquish all claims or actions known now or in the future against Detroit Bully Corps. I am of legal age and legally competent to sign this agreement. I am signing of my own free will.* Release of Liability and Waiver: My signature to this Volunteer Liability Release attests to my intent to hold harmless and release from all liability Detroit Bully Corps or its directors from all acts which are related to the normal performance of required and implied duties. My signature, whether original, by fax or any other electronic means, is valid as if it were an original signature.* Volunteer Handbook and Commitment Contract: I am committed to making a positive difference with Detroit Bully Corps, therefore, I agree with all of the terms outlined within the Volunteer Handbook.*

WANTED: Dog Walkers & Socialization Aides

Monday/Wednesday/Friday  6:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Saturdays 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.
Go to https://signup.com/login/entry/635880358025 to schedule your days and times.
A long-term commitment is not required, but multiple visits would be most beneficial for the dogs.
All volunteers must complete the Volunteer Application (on the right) before volunteering. After you submit your app,
we will contact you to set up a time that works for you.
DBC is located at 100 Lone Pine Trail in Lapeer, Michigan.
Open to ages 12 and up.
